Fall 2005 Wedding and Reception Magazine, features wedding of Newell Fox and Heba Abdel-Aziz in April 2005, Clearwater, Fl. October 3, 2005 Stewart and Susan presented a full day keynote seminar at the Professional Photographers of South Carolina Annual Convention in Myrtle Beach; SC. Nearly 100 professional photographers enjoyed the presentation which featured cutting edge digital workflow, advanced album design and customer service. September 2005 FUJI FILM USA Negotiates purchase of a Powers Photography image to be used as a demonstration image in new software being installed in 3000 Wal-Mart stores. September 2005 Stewart and Susan presented a full day membership kick off seminar for the Professional Photographers of Northern Ohio in Toledo, OH. The presentation featured advanced digital workflow, magazine album design and advanced photographic techniques including a live demonstration of the creation of romantic wedding portraits. August 2005 Susan attended the Florida Professional Photographers Convention held in Orlando, FL. Susan attended seminars and at the annual awards banquet Susan and Stewart were awarded first place multi maker social function album. The Powers entered a photographic documentary of the production of a major fireworks show off of a barge in the St. Johns River. In addition to the first place award, the album was also rewarded with the FUJI Masterpiece award for outstanding creativity. July 2005 Stewart and Susan presented two seminars for the Professional Photographers of America Annual Specialty Conference in Las Vegas, NV. The Powers were the only photographers asked to present programs for two different specialty niches. The first program, presented for the Wedding Group, featured advanced marketing, philosophy, photographic techniques for wedding and event photographers. The second program, presented for the Digital and Electronic Imaging Group, featured cutting edge digital workflow solutions and live software demonstrations for the wedding and portrait photographers. Nearly 600 professional photographers from all over the world attended this very popular conference. March 2005 Stewart presented seminars at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Annual Convention held in Las Vegas, NV. Stewart taught advanced lens and camera techniques. This convention was attended by nearly 8,000 photographers. March 2005 Stewart and Susan presented a weeklong intensive seminar on Family and Children's Portraiture at the New England Institute of Professional Photography on Cape Cod, MA. Nearly 225 professional photographers attended this annual school, which offers twelve different classes for working professional photographers. The Powers seminar featured cutting edge digital workflow, live demonstrations of children's and family portrait sessions, customer service, and advanced camera techniques and portrait finishing. March 2005 Stewart and Susan presented a full day guest lecture for the Hallmark Institute of Professional Photography in Turners Falls, MA. The presentation featured digital workflow, magazine album design and wedding portfolio building techniques. By popular demand, the Powers have been asked back by the students and faculty of this prestigious school for five consecutive years. Advanced students were invited to participate in a live demonstration on the following day.
